  Robert was a boot maker and would make and repair shoes for his family on his machines at their home in 21 Russell St Northcote. Bob and Glad would make a weekly trip out to 'young Bob' and Kitty's home in Rosanna. They would be loaded up with goodies from their garden and others that 'Glad' had baked.
