Notes - transcription taken from LDS film no 464177 The numbers relate to page number and household number. I have tried to be accurate but errors may occur due to poor handwriting, faint records and typos! y/n = whether born in the county and ages were rounded down to the next five years for persons over 15 years by some enumerators but not all. I have only come across one more researcher (in USA) who has ancestors in Birdingbury so you have joined an elite set!!! There are only 201 persons listed on the 1841 census so it was a small
place. I have no-one with the surname LAMB in my database. There is a family named ALIBONE in Birdingbury and I remember seeing the
name crop up quite a few times in the PRs. Maybe there is a connection as I note one of the children has Allibone as his second name.

The other three parties signed their names.
I noted the above entry as Mary Anne Russell was my GGGrandmother's niece. She was staying with them in the 1851 census (Charles & Elizabeth ARISS) I have the records of them and their children somewhere!

(There are 2 Cockerill entries John & Catherine.)
There are MIs for Lane and Cockerill. I can send them if you want them but have to get to a fiche reader first.
My interest in Dunchurch & Thurlaston are the BURTON families so I have done quite a lot of research into the area. I hope some of the above proves useful to you in your research.
With best wishes
