    • Lois and Syd lived in Henry St Subiaco. Plain St., East Perth, and Darch St. Yokine.
      Syd was in the Aust. Infantry Forces WX 40890. 2/9th BN. World war 2 1939-1945. Served in Borneo and in other parts of the Pacific War Zone. Was wounded in action, and contracted Malaria. He was filmed in a newsreal. Owned Butcher shop in Nollamara and in the early 1960's, opperated two butcher shops in Midland. Syd studied and became a meat and fisheries inspector, Health inspector, Building inspector (M.R.S.H) and worked in Shires, Merredin, Harvey, Kojonup, also worked in Canberra designing Abattoirs For the Government, moving back to the west to manage the Katanning Meat works which was his last place of employment before he died of a brain haemorrhage. He was a good natured person, Black hair balding, about 6' tall, good looking, nice personality, and was well liked.
