Notes - Wilhelm and Anna came to Australia in about 1847 from a little town near the Polish border in the Provence of Posen Germany, now Poznan, as far as researchers can tell. Their 13 children are Emila or Emilga (1845-1847 died during the voyage to Australia), Henriette (Ettie - 12/3/1846-4/1/1909), Carl Gottfried ( b 5/10/1848 Neudorf Lobethal SA - d 28/6/1931 Murtoa), August Pauline Liersch (b 4/8/1850 Neudorf - d 2/9/1935 Watchem), Daniel Gotthold (b 1/3/1852 Neudorf Lobethal - d 30/11/1937 Minyip), Johann Friedrich (b 21/10/1853 Neudorf - d 11/9/1941 Warracknabeal), Johannes Wilhelm (b 28/6/1855 Neudorf - d 18/6/1952 Sea Lake), Richard Immanuel (b 25/6/1857 Neudorf - d 6/6/1860 Lobethal), Marie Louise (b 8/3/1859 Neudorf - d 4/5/1861 Lobethal), Johanne Matilda (Tilly - b 27/4/1861 Neudorf - d 20/10/1958 Warracknabeal), Johannes Paul (b 3/5/1863 Neudorf - d 24/12/1863 Lobethal), Gustav Ahrnhold (b 12/3/1865 Neudorf - d 24/10/1944 Warracknabeal - legend has it that Gustav put his foot down with his wife about the amount of children they were having (they went on to have 17) and slept out in the wood shed. Unfortunately this did not stop his wife getting pregnant and rumours abound that the last three children were actually fathered by the older sons), Auguste Wilhemina (b 14/4/1867 Mt Torrens - d 23/6/1957 Warracknabeal).
