  James and Eliza Ashworth and their two daughters, Mary and Sarah, emigrated from England to Morris County New Jersey, U.S.A. However, James came first and appears in the Pequannock Township, N.J. census in 1850. Daughter Sarah Ashworth emigrated in 1855. Sarah married Henry F. Witty. Daughter Mary married Henry Bott. No one knows what happened to James as he left his family and was seen from time to time.
