The following information came from Adrian Norris, Perth, Australia "Records show that Joseph & Caroline traveled from West.Aust. To S.A. (this has been interpreted as South Australia when ever shown as any reference to South Africa has been fully spelt out.) on May 7, 1848 and returned to Perth per "LAPWING" on February 22, 1851 with their son Frederick Charles. A reference to the actual registration of his birth has not been found and it is possible that as visitors they never bothered." "On January 1, 1863 a son, name unknown, moved to England for education per the "TARTAR". Common sense would indicate this to be Frederick Charles as he was at least 14 especially as it is also reported that FARMANER JNR returned to Australia shortly after the main family arrived in the UK."
